Toxic Streets
I took part in an open-brief from Glimpse - the creative collective for good. The task was to highlight the reality of air pollution and empower people to take action.
I came up with the idea of renaming the street-signs of polluted streets with the chemical symbol of pollutants present in the air, such as NO2 (Nitrogen Dioxides), CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) and NOX (Nitrogen Oxides). And Oxford Street became NOXford Street.

With the charity the AirTeam, we renamed well-known streets and local ones near schools all over the country, from London, to Manchester and Leeds. People could even download a free DIY sticker pack on the AirTeam's website to spread the movement to their local high street.

And despite our 0£ budget, our street sign takeover got the attention of the BBC and of local papers throughout the UK. You too can spread the word by requesting your own DIY pack here.
